The Acid Bat Project was founded by Dave "DZ" Diaz, front man/vocalist for Miami local band Core from 1992-2006. Influenced by the psychedelic funk sounds of the late 60s and early 70s, he set off in 2010 to do his solo project. The Acid Bat Project is a hybrid of old school psychedelia and modern day groove.

A remake of Dio's classic hit Rainbow in the Dark. Also featuring Space Oddity, David Bowie (remake), Flowers from the Seven album & Loco Breath (remake of Jethro Tull's Locomotive Breath.) All music produced by Dz Diaz on a laptop and a microphone.
